GE9X Design – Advancing with Technology

Our speaker, Patrick Donnellan, from GE spoke to the branch on the GE9X engine.

Patrick is the Product Support Model Leader for the GE9X programme, and has over 30 years’ experience in his field.

To another packed audience, he shared many technologies and how they had advanced from the GE90 which powers the current generation of 777, to the GenX which powers the 787. For the next generation, 777X, the GE9X, takes a huge leap forward in powering the latest Boeing long haul leader with the engine to match.
